Hey! My name is Andy Bennett, I am the owner, salesman, and the arborist for Roots & Ropes Tree Service. In the picture above you'll see me kneeling beside sweet little Luna. A A Norwegian Elkhound that stole my heart, you may get to meet her when I come out to do a bid, she is super social and she'll see you as her new best friend!

Roots & Ropes started in September of 2023, I created this company with the intent of cultivating a deeper connection between clients, their trees, and me. Climbing trees and learning about their biology is a passion that I love to share with others. I hope that I can get you to see your trees the way my eyes do. I see them with the eyes of an individual who has been working in the tree service industry for over 9 years. To this day the trees I get the privilege to work on, continue to educate and show me just how resilient they are and how each species has unique characteristics.

What I provide for my customers is that I am the only person to guide you throughout the entire process of your tree project. My operation creates less noise which is a big bonus if you work from home. I enjoy sharing knowledge of what I have learned about trees and how to properly prune and remove a tree, ask me as many questions as you like, no question is an odd question!

At Roots & Ropes I operate out of a small truck and a 5'x10' utility trailer. This gives me the ability to keep my operation cost down and pass that saving on to you. It may take me longer to load the brush into the trailer, but that does not mean I cut corners in the quality of work and clean-up. Simply means I got to sweat and bleed a little more to earn my keep as your tree service provider!

Just because Roots & Ropes is owner/operator run, doesn't mean that a tree job is too big. I have friends who own their own small tree companies. Our small companies can contract hire another small company to come assist with a project that requires multiple people, either for safety of a high risk tree, or due to time limits of when the job needs to be completed.

I was born and raised in Washington, having graduated from Redmond High School in 2008. I have worked many jobs from being a bike mechanic, construction worker, mountain bike-park trail builder, ski mechanic, snowmaker and a few retail jobs. A regular jack of all trades, master of none. All these jobs where appealing with their ups and downs. But when I would look ahead at my future, well I just couldn't imagine one. Tree work found me when I was 25 and living in Portland, OR. I have stuck with tree work ever sense because it has helped me grow into an individual who I enjoy hanging out with daily. It's challenging and keeps me on my toes. While at the same time, keeps me humble and appreciative for what this life has to offer.

Simply put, I am honored to enjoy the hard work that tree work provides and thankful that I can lend my calist and scared up hands to individuals looking for someone to work on the trees that they love and appreciate!
